Inspirations

The Wild & Soft Collection utilizes seemingly heavy and sharp metals juxtaposed with delicate and elegant pearls as its primary materials. Breaking through the conventional boundaries of materials in design creates substantial yet lightweight jewellery, with materials that are rigid yet soft to the touch.

Our metalworking team continues to explore materials, breaking the boundaries between "light" and "heavy," pushing beyond the frameworks of design to embody the core concept of "Wild and Soft."

Each piece captures different moods through the tactile sensations of metalwork and material: the resolute "Fierce," the gentle "Soft," the every day "Sparkle," and the tranquil "Quiet" that follows calm introspection.

From intensity to daily wear, passion to composure, these four distinct moods reflect a pursuit of beauty, once again embodying the OYJ brand spirit: Never settle for less. Until everything approaches perfection, we do not compromise.

This new Wild & Soft series is divided into four chapters:

Fierce

"Fierce" refers to something exhibiting strong or intense aggression, but it can also mean steadfast or boldly expressive, much like the sharp and powerful impression that metal conveys.

This chapter embodies the unyielding and rebellious spirit of youth that dares to challenge boundaries. It prominently features chain mail, with its soft lines formed by careful manipulation, blending armor-like strength with graceful and gentle design. It serves as a reminder that while being strong, we should not forget to maintain inner softness when needed.

Soft

Through the clashes of rebellion and the experiences of being misunderstood, we gradually discover our true selves. This chapter features the brand's iconic element—pearls—as the centerpiece, paired with 925 sterling silver beads. The arrangement of white crystals and oval pearls creates a spiked, non-linear string of beads, breaking away from traditional forms. While we grow into our individuality by stepping outside the norm, we must remember to stay soft, continuing to live with a rebellious spirit.

Sparkle

什麼是美的本質？是日常生活稍縱即逝的瞬間，還是生命中永恆的記憶？ 此篇章結合不同型態的鏈條創造出流蘇般的寫意，如火花綻放的鏈條結構在金屬網的邊緣蔓延，像是煙火點燃的稍縱即逝，在不斷變化的世界裡，喚起我們對於燦爛的追求與嚮往。

Quiet

常常在書寫中看見心的方向，筆跡的線條像是軌跡，記錄從喧鬧到沉靜後的清澈。本篇章以筆觸為靈感，如筆跡般的銀線引導純銀織帶，細膩的線條考驗金工師傅穩定精準的燒焊工藝，在曲度變換間時而動時而靜，賦予每一款首飾獨特的姿態。刻意以抽離色彩的黑白視覺呈現，此篇章如同於一切沉寂之後的反思，wild spirit & soft heart，最後是靈魂對自由與平靜的絕對追求。
